Artists trading card challenge

Hi there,

Have seen ATC's out there but never new what to do with them lol. There is a monthly challenge on the scrap twist forum that challenges you make them.

This had to have a colour swatch.
A flower and
A quote.

Here is mine.

I used two papers and re-coloured them. Shading on the top one to help it stand out.
The word is mine :) The flowers are on the word art, they too are re-coloured and shaded.

This is the kit I used. Part of the April Blog Train departed from Scrap Twist in April.
You can find it on Marniejo's blog -> HERE

Love the kit ! Check it out on her blog or join the forum !

Artist trading cards (ATCs) is a conceptual art project initiated by the Swiss artist M. Vรคnรงi Stirnemann in 1997. He called it a Collaborative Cultural Performance. Artist trading cards are 2 12 by 3 12 inches (64 mm × 89 mm) in size, the same format as modern trading cards (hockey cards or baseball cards). They are self-made unique works or small series, signed and dated on the reverse by the artist/producer, exchanged and collected by the people who participate in the collaborative performance.

Back soon !

All about me challenge

Hallo,

I hate not blogging....I miss it when I don't so I looked for something to help me blog. I joined a nice group of ladies on a digiscrap forum. Joining in the challenges will help me blog....well it should help me blog. Maybe I can get some word arts done again. I loved doing that too.

So the forum is Scraptwist (link in the name). Its new and they have lots of freebies and a blogtrain between the designers.

One of the first challenges is a monthly challenge to complete a 'book about me'. Further along it will get interesting :)....wonder what I will be challenged to put in it hihi. This months is a cover page for my book. So here it is ....

This page is happy and bright, I love bright colours ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜.

I used three different papers and chopped them up a bit. Only four elements used but the kit has loads of cute stuff....love, love, love the cactus too. I used shading on the elements and to top it all of a little frame with shading and a rounded edge.

This kit is perfect. Fiesta Fun by CrazyCatCreations. Her blog is here if you want to check it out. She makes the cutest freebies. I used the font 'fun'.

I hope to be back soon with more goodies. I also want to show some cards I have made lately.
