Halloween season

Good evening,

Hope you are all doing well....i am loving this season. The weather is getting colder and wetter so what better to do than colour :)

I am really into Christmas cards but i do like a seasonal witch LOL. This is a birthday card  with the cutest witchy.

I coloured this Halloween Molly by Tiddly Inks

I coloured her mainly in pinks and purples from Winsor & Newtons Basic Promarker Pack.
Shadowing is done by doubling up on the ink :)

I printed Happy Birthday in the same purple colour and cut out.
I added an autumn paper in a different tone of purple and a little bling.
To make it stand out i stuck some of the bling with sticky sponges on the back.

I couldn't just share Happy Birthday so i made this little poem to share. It's Dutch so it'll go to a few. The translation is below as well as the download link.

Download here -> HERE

November, November
There comes a whole flight
Of little yellow leaves
Falling through the night

November, November
The wind blows through the branches
I walk through the dying leaves
However I try I cannot catch them

I tried to make it rhyme LOL, that is hard hahahaha

I also put this card in the weekly promarkerchallenge. You can find more information on that here -> HERE

Well hope you like my card and the sentiment. Back soon !

Who's Special

Hi There,

I made the cutest card for my sons 'girlfriend' ...they are 12 and too cute together. I used Ellies Birthday ditigal image from tiddly inks. Love her stuff....find it HERE

I took pink cardboard and three different papers. Cut the papers and stuck them on whitecard. Ellie is layered up one and the sentiment layered up two.

I coloured Ellie with promarkers from set 1 and added gold papermate to brighten the candles.

I made the word art and printed it at 25%. I coloured the black with some pink glitter glue. For a final touch, added a few bling flowers....

I am entering this image into a Challenge over on " Passion For Promarkers". Its anything goes, as long as you use pro-markers. You can check out there page HERE

The word art or sentiment is made with the fonts Army tag and Signarita Zhai.
You can download it for free HERE.

Lovin Christmas allready

Hi There,

We have a caravan in the middle of the Dutch countryside...we love it there, my son loves it there.....All you hear are birds lol.

When the season is through....everything has to be tidied up and cleared away before the end of October....i get an itch...a card itch...

So i join in some challenges and make Christmas Cards share my setiments or word-arts and get into everything artsy LOL.

This week i joined in a sentiment challenge here: -> AUDSENTIMENTCHALLENGEBLOG

I made a sweet little sentiment to show off this naughty little reindeer. You will find a download link below.

I folded a pieces of flowered card 21x15 cm in half to make a long tall card. I added glitter glue around the flowers, you can see it better on the photo below.

I coloured the image which i found as a freebie on the world wide web. I layered them differently by using different thicknesses of foam.

I was looking for a word art to capture the naughty reindeer. I love this....I have to share of course....free to grab if you want...just let people know where you got it. If you want to share an image .... cool !!

I used the font P820-Script. In the zip is a png format, a jpeg and a red coloured one.
You can find the download link -> HERE

Have fun !
Back soon 😉

2:3 Tiddly Inks Challenge

Hi There,

This is too cool and i am so happy....I had lost my Paint Shop Pro X7 programme due to a computer crash and now i got it back. I used to make some fun word arts or sentiments with it. I was even able to sell them for a while at 'My Life And Scap' my home away from home.

I loved making sentiments for my card and digital lay-outs. I also loved sharing sharing them, so in combining everything together i made some to use and share.

The perfect place to share being here of course. I used my first to make some awesome cards for this awesome challenge.

3 groups to choose from (floral, girly girl, anything goes), two cards to make (i chose girly girl and anything goes). You will find this link to the blog -> HERE. Who would not want for a 50 dollar certificate.

My first card is Girly Girl.

I had a piece of card with little lilac squares on it.
I drew on some lilas swirls and ricracs.

I coloured my Girly girl in lilac with my awesome Winsor & Newton pens.

I made a word art - happy birthday heart and highlighted one line.
Finally i added a little bling i scored at a local hobby store.

My second card is anything goes. It is of course a Christmas card.

I had Christmas cardstock with a metallic green and plain red squigle line
I stuck on a few red and green gems.

I coloured and cut Rudolph in different shades to show of the shadow with my pens.
I placed him on foam cubes to help him float onto the card.

I printed and chopped the word art and highlighted one line.

The download links for the birthday wordart are here for you. Its in a zip in png and jpg format. In a square shape and heart shape.

Halloween challenge at tiddlyinks

Hi there,

I bought some digital stamps from tiddlyinks yesterday including this 'Halloweeny Molly' with the intention of using it for a friend. Its her birthday the beginning of November and she is a witch. Really she is, she loves herbs and spices and everything they do for you. She has little witches all through her house and loves the colours orange and purple lol.

I stumbled upon the Halloween challenge at tiddlyinks and decided to send in my card. I don't have professional stuff for making cards. I would love copics but they are quite expensive. So i use Winsor & Newton Promarkers. I love them and i can buy one at a time or several if i please. They have a blender marker too and if you use the right paper they are awesome.

So here is my card.
I buy most of my stash at a cheap hobby store. So orange card, some beads, some flowers. I stenciled the letters. The background paper is a fabric paper and you can just see the fabric in it. The card is layered with foam blocks. So the card is one layer, the fabric second and witchy the third layer.

So i use Winsor & Newton Promarkers, orange, yellow and browns in this image.

I have entered it in the Halloween challenge at tiddlyinks.

Back soon with more 😉😋😋😋

Pumkin soup

Hi there,

The weather here in Holland is yuk. Its Autumn. Rain and wind....stay-in weather.

So what do you do on days like this.....well....i am helping hubby make a radiator cover, it's wood panneling to cover it so when our new couches come they wont be too close to the radiator. You will see it when it's finished.

I also made some soup. Pumpkin soup. I would like to share the recipe of this yummie soup with you.

Ingredients:
1 Hokkai pumpkin (1 kg),
1 bottle shaped pumpkin (1 kg),
2 liters of stock (vegetable or chicken),
2 onions,
4 garlic cloves,
2 teaspoon or curry powder,
1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg,
1 teaspoon of ground ginger,
1 teaspoon of sage,
1 teaspoon of dried rosemary,
2 apples,
salt and pepper
olive oil.

Chop the pumpkins, onion, appel and garlic into bits, put them on an oventray. Sprinkle them with the sage, rosemaryand olive oil and let them roast in the oven 160C for 45 minutes. Put your stock on to heat.
When the pumpkin in ready you can scoop it out with a spoon or knife (like melom, easy peasy.

Put everything into your stock and let it simmer for ten minutes. Take it off the heat and blend it with a hand blender. Be careful of splashes it is hot.
Serve with toasted French bread and enjoy.

If you try it let me know what you think.
